Gary and I just made absolute asses of ourselves in a quiet little internet café in Bangkok by jumping up out of our seats cheering. What, thought everyone in the internet café, is their problem? Well, as it turns out we have made it through to the finals of the Irish Blog Awards. Until today we were playing it pretty cool, acting as demure as we could towards the awards for fear of building ourselves up too much but now that we are finalists…. WOOOOOOOO!!!!
And while we’re full of self-congratulations, has anyone noticed that

views?

Naturally we don’t have much hope beyond this point as the competition is fierce and very much worth checking out. It’s a pretty diverse group too with a style blog called The Style Bitches, a food and drink blog called 9 Bean Row, a personal blog by the name of Good After-Morning! and our favourite, Pretty Far West which is, in a word, just lovely.
